Had a look on it.
It seems, that this is not really what I can use for a joystick, because the 
opie widget lets a user calibrate his screen by touching it with a pen.
But with a joystick, I can not graphically show the user where he shall move 
his joystick-crosshair to, because the sense of the calibration is to check 
how far the joystick can move (or what values it can deliver).
So I can only do it in the (similar) way jscal does it - telling the user what 
he shall do (e.g. "move your joystick to the maximum ... " etc.)
