Thought a positive report might be useful, for a change.

Using kde-build, I successfully checked out, built, and installed the
following modules from CVS HEAD starting Saturday night. Required about
40 hours to complete (700 MHz CPU, :-))

KDEMODULES="kdenetwork kdegames kdeutils kdepim kdesdk kdemultimedia
kdeartwork koffice kdetoys kdeadmin kdeedu kdegraphics kdeaddons
kdevelop quanta klyx kdenonbeta kdekiosk kdeextragear-1
kdeextragear-2 kdeaccessibility kdebindings"

using the following parameters in kde-buildrc:

CVS_CLEAN="yes"
CONFIGUREFLAGS=""
MAKE_OPTS=""
MAKE_OPTS_COMPILE=""
BUILD_CLEAN=yes
CONFIGUREFLAGS_KDELIBS="--with-extra-includes=/usr/kerberos/include"
CONFIGUREFLAGS_KDEBASE="--with-extra-includes=/usr/kerberos/include"
CONFIGUREFLAGS_KDENETWORK="--with-extra-includes=/usr/kerberos/include"
CONFIGUREFLAGS_QUANTA="--with-libxslt-prefix=/usr"

I don't know if the kerberos flags are necessary anymore, but the quanta flag was required.
