Hi,
When saving a file in KWrite as "file:test.txt" the "Save-As"-dialog
interprets this as an URL and the file is actually saved as "test.txt".
Then I tried to save the file as "file%3atest.txt" (expecting an
URL-transformation of "%3a" into ':') but the file was then saved as
"file%3atest.txt".
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
To spare you the question: Why should I want to do this?
A user sent me a bug-report for my program kdiff3, saying that he tried to
compare and merge the /usr/share/man-directory. This directory is full of
files containing colons in their filenames, which kdiff3 also interpreted as
URLs. While fixing that bug, I encountered the problem above.
