Cleaning this lot up fixed it for > me. I blew away my whole $KDEDIR and rebuilt/installed kdelibs, to no avail. The qtconfig paths looked fine. In the end it turned out to be a conflict with an old version of the uic, and newer qt-copy - I had updated Qt, but not rebuilt it.
