[Replying to Thiago] You can't rely on the -devel packages for anything
installing relevant autoconf macro's -- see the history of KPilot's
JPilot-plugin-proxy, for example, which uses glib but needs to have a
private copy of the glib detection macros, since if glib is not installed,
neither are the macros that come with it, and then auto* fails on
undefined macros.

So basically, if you need an autoconf macro, you have to copy-n-paste it
into configure.in.in and hope for the best.
