Is the following possible? And if so, how?

An application has a lot of plugins or dynamically loaded modules. Each plugin 
consists of a calculation engine and exactly one options dialog.

None of the plugins should be contructed at startup. All I want is a approiate 
menu entry for each of them found. Only when the user click on the menu entry 
an instance of the plugin should be constructed.
