because applets are usually run from within the kicker process, you need to 
explicitly provide the name of your applet to invokeHelp (which becomes the 
path to the help:/ url... ) so if your help files are installed to help:/
kicker/appletname/ you would want to do something like:

kapp->invokeHelp(QString::null, "kicker/appletname");
