hmmm.. not sure what a menu entry wants inside of it as minimum. Here's 
mine (eeyore.desktop)

 [Desktop Entry]
Icon=/debian/eeyore-0/files/st.png
Type=Application
Exec=kbuildsycoca

Is this not enough? the desktop liked it - for whatever that's worth.
