Good defaults ARE very important. The definition of "good" is up for discussion in this case. :) Either way, there should be a configuration option for that sort of thing in the Control Center, but I still think it would be better to have it on by default for the Windows-style but not for KDE-style. Perhaps a better option would be to have autoplay enabled only if the automounter is also. I wouldn't know how to check for that though, and it would probably be a platform-dependent solution anyways. > Imagine someone who are used to the > "windows" settings chooses "kde" by accident (or just closed > kpersonalizer), and now the system acts totally differently. (and i don't like kpersonalizer as it is because of this) No, it's not easy, but that's a different issue altogether in this case. - Michael Pyne -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/SCHLqjQYp5Omm0oRAl/gAKCsGQfrd+IGoKdljjfw1Cwh+HMThgCcCbFk N8T64oMB+TBxELFV+Mf8oFI= =7MHk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
