Hi,

I'd been running KDE HEAD for a couple of months, then a couple of weeks
ago I updated my CVS and recompiled. Now most applications crash on
startup, it appears to be a problem with the system configuration cache
and kbuildsycoca.

I've tried updated versions of HEAD over the past two weeks and the
problems continue, my most recent update was yesterday. I use a different
user for testing KDE and that user does not run stable KDE so there should
be no possibility of the configuration being mangled by another version of
KDE.

I tried deleted .kde, .kderc, .mcop and /var/tmp/kdecache-kdetest but to
no avail.

Please could someone give me some pointers as to how to diagnose, and
hopefully fix, this problem.
