hi,

can somebody tell me if there's a definative autorun program for kde that's=
 in=20
the main distribution? (by autorun program, i mean something that sits in t=
he=20
background and executes a program/whatever if a cd/dvd/whatever is inserted=
).

i've been reading around on the net and have found several kde and non-kde=
=20
autorun programs (the kde ones mostly very old and no doubt suffering from=
=20
some bit rot).

i later found this message

which mentions that there was to be an autorun program bundled with kde-2=20
which would automagically execute "autorun.sh"/"autorun"/whatever from a=20
cdrom on insertion.

i can't seem to find anything except the 3-year-old nonbeta kautorun in the=
=20
current cvs...
