Errors that happen so early typically indicate to problems with the tool-
chain. Most likely you are mixing libraries that have been build with 
different and incompatible C++ compilers.

"ldd /opt/kde/bin/krdc" will give you an overview of the actual libraries that 
krdc will use, verify that all these libraries are the ones that you expect  
it to use and verify that all these libraries have indeed be build with the 
same compiler.
