Correction:

Or, OTOH, if Qpainter is supposed to use the font family name (and the font style 
attributes) to fetch the PostScript font name, then that is the problem.

I have problems reading someone else's C++ code, but I think that that is how it is 
supposed to work.  So, there is still the question of where the errors in case are coming 
from and if passing: "Qpainter::setfont" the font family name with the case errors are 
causing the problem.
