Heh, again, are you going somewhere with this besides being silly? So,
what are you trying to tell me that compiling GIMP from sources should
now be a dependency to build kdepim?

There was nothing of hostility towards GNOME in any of my emails. I know
personally more GNOME developers then you probably will ever know in
your lifetime and respect all of them very much. Don't you dare to
associate me ever again with any unbiased hostility towards the GNOME
project.

*plonk* That is the stupidest thing I've heard in a very long time.

No, it's not, you know that right? libxml has nothing to do with GNOME
besides the name and fact that its developed by Daniel Veillard who is
a GNOME developer. It doesn't even depend on Glib.
You obviously have no clue what this discussion is all about so let me
straighten it out for you: Reinhold committed a piece of code to one of
the configure files that broke configure generation in all kdepim
module. It was a simple mistake, that wasn't visible on any machines
with GTK+ 1.2 devel packages installed. Reinhold didn't intend to make
kdepim depend on GTK+ 1.2, it was simply an honest mistake. Everyone
who didn't have GTK+ 1.2 devel packages installed wasn't able to
generate configure's globally in kdepim anymore. I was one of those
people and I fixed it a few minutes later. At this point the discussion
ended for me and we all started coding on the things we were coding.
Then you showed up muttering some utter nonsense of how GTK+ is
required by GIMP and our inability to use KDE SVG if we don't require
another GUI toolkit. The next time read the whole thread before you'll
start sending emails and in the mean time I'm done with this thread.
