I agree with you that that would be a killer app and I'd certainly use it.

However, there's a counter argument against the dependencies: while it might 
be nice to have those functionalities, a simple yet working calculator should 
be present even without the dependencies. So, whatever you do, make sure we 
still have a bare-bones kcalc (scientific, please! One that understands that 
typing "2 + 2 * 2" is 6, not 8).

By the way, as a suggestion, consider adding RPN ;-)
/me always gets confused with in-order calculators

As for the name, someone suggested KCalculator. This sounds like a class 
name... There's also "Kalculator" (there's still another c).
