Perhaps it's time to adjust your .signature then: think Open, think Linux, 
*BSD, KDE, GNOME, and lots of other things.  KDE is not Linux. Red Hat is not 
the definitive Linux either.

Why not QDir? It can give you a list of all the files you need - local files 
only, though (ie. mounted filesystems).
