Hi,

I have some problems with creating the neccessary Makefiles and configure
script after a fresh CVS checkout. For example if I check out koffice/karbon
and do a

make -f admin/Makefile.common cvs

(admin is a symlink to the kde-common/admin directory)
the result is the following error

*** Creating list of subdirectories
*** Creating configure.in
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `configure.in'. Stop.
make: *** [cvs] Error 1

The strange thing is that

make -f admin/Makefile.common configure.in

does produce a valid configure.in file.

The same problem arises with other projects, but not with kdevelop (kdevelop
happens to have its own admin folder).

I know this should be all standard stuff, but I can't get it to work, yet.

versions:
automake : 1.6.1
autoconf : 2.53
make : 3.79.1
