I'm writing a KDE tool based on a mysql database. Most of the database stuff
is already done, but I'm stuck at the point that I don't know how to store
the user's mysql-password safely. Is there a proper/standard way to do so?

If I want the program to remember it after I closing the program, then it must
be stored in a file, but then it must definetely be encrypted. But how can I
make a program that is able to decrypt it while a normal user is not?
