Every integer math operation only takes the minimum ticks on a pentium 4
processor (except division). Every floating point operation takes at least a
bus-cycle (internal bus-cycle which is not the same as the FSB, but still it
is at least 7 normal cycles).
So it is a LOT faster (at least 7 times, can be more, because there is much
more bandwidth available for integer math).
