Hi again!

Before starting a fierce discussion whether to import namespaces or not, I 
don't mind whether you take the std:: version or you import the full 
namespace std - as long as you do so ONLY in implementation files (*.cpp, 
*.cc etc.) it's IHMO not wrong and simplifies the usage. And always think in 
terms of someone who is actually using the c++ std-projekt - it's most likely 
a beginner... so don't confuse him with those std:: namespace modifiers.
And "cout << "some text" << endl;" looks soooo simple and we certainly don't 
want to scare people away from using C++ :-)

Anyway, just flip a coin and decide whatever version you like, as long as you 
replace the old/deprecated one.
