Are you sure? I've just updated to XFree 4.3.0 (compiled from source) and 
I've been using KDE 3.1 final for a while now. After upgrading to XFree 
4.3.0 and installing some new Xcursors I observed the problem as well. 
Most of the time the new Xcursors are displayed currectly and look great. 
However, sometimes - e.g. when I drag a file in Konqueror (copy/move) - 
Konqueror shows the regular Qt cursor again. When I release the mouse it 
displays the new Xcursor again.

Just for the record: I'm using KDE 3.1 final (compiled from source), Qt 
3.1.1 (compiled from source), XFree 4.3.0 (compiled from source), and new 
nVidia drivers. I also checked KDE/Qt CVS from a few days ago and observed 
this problem there as well. Any ideas?
