But kde-devel-admin has nothing to do with the admin directory!

The kde-devel-admin@kde.org is likw any *-admin@kde.org the address of the 
mailing list agent where you can subscribe/unsuscribe/... the particular KDE 
mailing list. (Try sending simply the word help in the message body to the 
address to see what I mean.)

If you want to talk about the admin directory, it is the 
kde-core-devel@kde.org mailing list that you need. (Archives 
http:///lists.kde.org )
