This raises the basis for an idea that I had recently, and a possible solution 
for the purists and the ones that wish to change kdm_greeter. How about 
making the login UI skinnable and let the skins add the extra functionality 
to the UI? This way distributions and corporate users can create a branded UI 
that has the information that they want to have up there (and the 
capabilities that they want) without having the default greeter UI becoming 
cluttered or feature bloated. What say all of you?
