Not maintained is basically the same as not supported (e.g. bugreports will be closed or ignored).. you're either willing to support user wishes for a component, or not. For the HTML bug I've had in TOC, I was told to use OSCAR and that TOC is indeed not ment to be maintained, by one of the developers on #kopete. IIRC, that fork announcement was mostly due to Charles repeatedly disabling one of Neil's (perfectly functioning) plugins, Hayes, and severly different views on how extensible playlist plugins are. But cc:ing him anyway, it could be an option if otherwise it means TOC will be unmaintained.
