Subject:    aging KDE profiles?

I've been using my ~/.kde folder for quite a while, but now I experience 
problems that I do not have, when I delete my ~/.kde.
To name two:

1) In kicker, when I rightclick an application, the dialog is cornersharing 
with the application field I rightclick into. (understandable?)

2) Bug #48998

I just get a "WORKSFORME", but it is 100% reproducable with my profile _and_ 
even with a clean profile.

There used to be a problem with Shift-MMB on a link in konqueror which has 
disappeared somehow.

So what do I do with these problems?
I do not want to delete my konquerorrc, etc.
These are just text files and I cannot find something weird inside them.
Does using KDE CVS mess up my profile?
