Hi,

Gnome application rely on glib which is a low-level lib to take care of lists,
... (I'm not sure what's there actually).
Anyway, all of this is handled by Qt in KDE.

If I want to port an application from Gnome to KDE, the dependance of GTK can
be removed, but it seems very difficult to remove the dependance of glib.

My question is: does a regular KDE user has glib installed on his system?
Otherwise, there is no way to port a Gnome application to KDE... (I was
thinking of GnuCash).

Thanks,
Fred.
