I have installed KDE-3.1.0RC3 and FontConfig and it appears faster -- 
especially Konqueror started as 'filemanagment':

	kfm loadProfile filemanagement

But Konqueror opened as 'webbrowsing' is much slower -- hasn't improved 
much vs. 3.0.x.

I note that I am comparing 3.1.0 vs 3.0.x both with the debug code included.
