Hello,

I'm trying to use the kde-build script (from kdesdk/scripts) to automate CVS
updating, but I can't get it to work properly. When it gets to kdelibs, I
get the following compile error:

make[3]: Entering directory `/data/jharris/kde3/kdelibs/kdewidgets'
=========================================================================
remove /home/jharris/kde3/kdelibs/kdewidgets/kdewidgets.cpp - it's most likely
outdated!!
=========================================================================
make[3]: *** [all-local] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/data/jharris/kde3/kdelibs/kdewidgets'

If I simply delete kdewidgets.cpp like it says, then make complains that
kdewidgets.cpp is missing...well duh! you just told me to delete it! :)
Running 'cvs up' replaces kdewidgets.cpp. So does it want the file or not?

The really weird part is that I can compile kdelibs just fine manually (as
long as I re-run 'make -f Makefile.cvs' and ./configure after kde-build
freaks out). Also, if I then try to restart the kde-build script, I get the
exact same error message, even though I just finished compiling kdelibs
manually!

So it seems like some Makefile issue...but why should it generate a different
Makefile if I am using kde-build?

Also, it would be nice to tell kde-build to skip cvs updates if I'm re-running
after a failed compile; is this possible?

thanks,
Jason
