I can't see what it has to do with -- how it signifies -- System 
Services either.

I also thought that it would be nice if the icon for the Desktop flashed 
while it said: "Loading the desktop".

However, I find that there aren't any stock icons for some of these.

Do you have an opinion on color.

I am going to post something halfway between the two sometime in the 
near future.
