Not withough rewriting QTabWidget, which I felt was more work than it was= =20 worth ( as far as my project is concerned ). And although it's not an optimal use of screen real-estate, I don't think= the=20 Grip or Close Button's location would be confusing for users. In fact,=20 placing the Close Button on the tab with the Title means that the user mu= st=20 take care not to accidentally press the Close Button when they go to sele= ct a=20 tab. You might laugh at this notion, but remember that some of our users = have=20 disabilities, and therefore can't control the mouse as well as you or I.
