You could do that, but you would have to implement that method first :}

You could add that functionality to KComboBox. I think you'd need a derived 
QListBox that prohibits selection of the separator-item.

I'm happy to help out a bit if you want to implement this, but I don't have 
the time to do it myself, currently.
