Which is unfortunately not easy to type unless you got big hands. (which 
i do, but i still find it akward). But it is at least better than using 
2 modifiers.

I would too. And i would generally like to see more standardization on 
shortcuts, even if it meant starting from scratch on them again. But 
that is probably a good topic for kde-usability after 3.1 is out.
