I'm the guy originally responsible for Jane. What Shawn means is that Jane is 
the machine used by use to build theKompany's products. Any system to build a 
large set of KDE packages would need to be rather more powerful :) But I've 
got no problem with giving away the Janes "secrets" (say "chroot is your 
friend") or the scripts (maybe 200 lines worth, would need beefing up a bit 
for KDE)
