Hi:

I think it is better for KDE the people configure KDE as they want. Anyway, 
the important thing for KDE is its architecture, so if this people needs 
software they will install kde aplications before other applications. 

If KDE starts controlling everything they will loose the focus that is to make 
software not control the way the people use it, so KDE would be another MS do 
not you think?
