Hi!

FYI: i uploaded the 'Darkstar Distribution 2' to the kde ftp server. The 
mirrors should pick them up during the next few days. There is a readme 
included but here are a few things which are new:

- - the distribution consists of the following packages now
   arts_102_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kde_i18n_de_302_DD2.tardist
   kde_i18n_he_302_DD2.tardist
   kdeartwork_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdebase_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdegraphics_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdelibs_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdenetwork_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdepim_302_mips4_DD2.tardist
   kdepovmodeler_02_mips4_DD2.tardist
   koffice_111_i18n_de_DD2.tardist
   koffice_111_mips4_DD2.tardist
   mosfet_liquid_095_mips4_DD2.tardist
   qt_303_mips4_DD2.tardist

- - kate is working now

- - i used the following compile flags with MIPSpro 7.3.1.3 for all packages 
except koffice: -O3          -mips4 --disable-debug --enable-final. This cuts 
binary size to around one half of the size of DD1. This lets to a nicely 
running desktop though i do not have 'hard' numbers to prove this.
