I think that wil work.
You could even just use use relative path AFAIK, because the startkde
script is executabed as the user who starts KDE.
If you call a script with a start parameter before ksmserver and the same
script with stop after ksmserver, you will get a similar behaviour to the
start script in /etc/init.d
