Sorry, incorrect copy and paste - should have been:
--disable-debug --enable-final

Yes. I used the beKDE script to run through the whole lot, and then checked
each project individually with 'make install'. It was easier to find the
errors than wading through the complete log file beKDE.err. If you would like
to see the complete beKDE.err log file let me know and I'll send it to you
directly rather than to the list.
