I'm using jre-1.3.1-04 fun Sun. The newer jre doesn't run almost anything of
the Israeli applets.

Ahha. I see.

My problem is that a week ago it was working perfectly. fact is, that
Konqueror is the only web browser which works with those applets - none of
the others.

At the moment I don't have the demos. It's only the JRE that I have right in
front of.

On both cases I compiled KDE CVS. same JRE, same build, same enviroment (Red
Hat 7.3) so I don't know what else has been changed.

You can reproduce the steps I'm doing pretty easily (if you want):

If you want hebrew keys, do:
setxkbmap -option grp:switch,grp:shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll il

This will let you shift between hebrew and english with both shift-keys
pressed (you'll see the scroll lock light on when you're in hebrew, light off
- and you're in english mode)..

Then try the following URL: http://chat.iol.co.il/chat.asp?join=1

after few seconds it will ask you in hebrew to type a nick. switch to hebrew
and try to type. switch to english and type ;)

Hope this helps.

Hetz
