Yes. You need to buy USB networking cable which has a special chip in it. $50 
was the price when I looked at it last time.

1. Pin 2 and pin 3 are both tx/rx pins at the same time.
2. DON'T DO THIS. DON'T. IT WON'T WORK. FORGET IT, OR YOU MAY DESTROY YOUR 
MOTHERBOARDS.

You have to buy a proper active solution, i.e. a cable with a chip in it.
