yeah, you can.  The GPL is about "Free as in Speech", not "Free as in 
beer".  You can charge money for your program, just as long as the 
person who buys the software gets the source code along with it.

That's what RedHat is doing -- selling MySQL, QT, KDE, along with a 
bazillion other programs -- as a distribution. It doesn't break any 
philosophy, because of what I said above.
