Actually, I was wrong - looking at kaboodle_factory shows that it obviously
uses KParts::Factory.
I see nothing wrong in kaboodle about this, at first sight.
Especially since it loads fine in e.g. Konqueror....
I don't know why the dynamic_cast fails. You need to investigate (what's the type
of 'factory' - use typeid(*factory).name() to find out, or factory->className(),
also, check whether the KaboodleFactory is actually created or not.

First find the real bug, then think about the workaround. Not the other way round.
