Hi, this is probably the wrong place to ask, but since upgrading to kde
3.0.2 (Mandrake 8.2 Binaries)
Im having problems connecting to the internet with kppp (problems = cant
connect at all and writing this is outlook :-)  The modem dials, gets
back a CONNECT (45333/V44) or similar, but when waiting for 'ogin' all
that appears in the terminal window is giberish (in the tecjnical sense)
(along the lines of (((DFGDFY$£^^())000))

Any suggestions appreciated, im sure it must bo something im doing
because the rest of the desktop is superb compared to 3.0 (loads faster)
and koffice 1.2 is definitely getting better.
