I have a duron 800, 128 mb ram and my kde is as slow as it could be. When I
recompile qt without stl the laoding speed improved but it is still the same
as in kde 3.0b2 and I want it tobe like in kde 3.0rc3 but the problem is I
have no idea how to do it, when woody is out, I am planning to move there and
then I'll recompile kde and maybe use fas-malloc and prelink.
BTW. It would be a good idea if someone wrapped up the threads about konqueror
speed and maybe wrote an article about optimizng kde?
