if you want to use Qt's (3.x) SQL module, you just have to compile the 
PostgreSQL driver (http://doc.trolltech.com/3.0/sql-driver.html) and then use 
the SQL classes as outlined in the documentation.

If you want to use libpq++ directly, you have to add "-lpg++" to the linker 
line and do the whole connection/fetching stuff by hand.
