I'll try that. 

But again, the weird thing is, up to now, only KDE apps crash. Up to now I 
never had any other app crash. Didn't check with plain QT3 apps because I 
don't have any. The ones that did crash are kicker, konsole and konqueror. 
But then again, those are besides Kmail the ones I use most of the time.

I'll have a look at the mailinglists though.
