According to 
http://developer.kde.org/development-versions/kde-3.0-release-plan.html, it 
says that the tarballs will be available to the packagers on March 25.  Going 
by previous experience, the packages are announced a week after the packagers 
have got the tarballs.  So, can we expect the announcement today?
