I would probably be better to write a kioslave for this. This kioslave 
should probably be based on gpgme. The big advantage would be that gpg 
could be started in "streaming mode", i.e. gpg would not have to be run 
several times but it keeps running and can be used for multiple 
operations (like all symmetric encrypt/decrypt functions).

A good solution for this would be to use the common asymmetric 
encryption to exchange the symmetric key and then reuse this symmetric 
key for the encryption of all following data.
