OK I got fed up with it for a bit and downloaded the latest kdebase cvs 
snapshot and updated. Then configured and compiled just konsole. Works OK, 
but I still get the font message in Konq, although it works after hitting ok.
I've read something about this on the net, but am unable to find it now. Will 
post sometime tomorrow when I find something.
