From kde-devel Sat Mar 30 00:18:08 2002 From: Felix Seeger Date: Sat, 30 Mar 2002 00:18:08 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: Bug in kdeadmin/lilo-config X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=101745312627774 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Maybe it is not clear because of the title of my last mail (disaster, please help) but there is a big bug in kdeadmin/lilo-config which might be a "showstopper" If you lilo.conf has some comments like #password=blabla or #compress lilo-config will enable this entrys. I think this is not a good idear. I rebooted my PC and than lilo comes up with a password question ;) It was the default debian passwd for lilo which was commented out. I started the system with a rescue disc and looked at /etc/lilo.conf. After that I had the password. I'm not a c++ developer, but for me it looks like lilo-config doesn't find # with it's regex. have fun Felix -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8pQRAS0DOrvdnsewRAoEMAJ9KMJTPxj+4+s4pgZGk+aC5hrzRLgCdHSeY var9eQoDxxS/RSbdPEWogZM= =YRbL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
