I could not make Qt display some characters.

First, the multiplication sign from latin1 (×). It did not even work with 
fromLatin1, so it must be a Qt bug.

Then I need a less-than-or-equal sign. The best workaroun I could find was 
"&lt;=". Similar for greater-than-or-equal.
